Mom has gone to hunt for a guy

A certain theft case appeared in the corner of a local article of the newspaper.

Mother of 40 generations and two sons of 20 generations were arrested.
Mother came in the house of somebody for money, and sons were the watch positions of the theft, and they repeated a sneak thief of several for a long time.

One of the sons was an pupil of my mother who worked as a teacher.


新聞の片隅にある窃盗事件のローカルな記事が載った。

40代の母と20代の二人の息子が逮捕された。
母親が金目当てに誰かの住居に進入し息子達が見張り役で、長い間何件ものコソ泥を繰り返したという。

息子の一人は教師をやっていた母のかつての教え子だった。


On one day more than 15 years ago, mother picked up two kittens in the school grounds.
The kittens would be kept in my home, but a name wasn't readily decided.
Mother asked him who was a student. "What kind of name is good?"
"Daisuke and Nana are good"
It was a name of his own and a name of his younger sister.


15年以上前のある日、母は校庭で子猫を二匹拾った。
我が家で育てることになったが、名前がなかなか決まらない。
母は生徒であった彼に尋ねた。どういう名前がいいか。
「DaisukeとNanaにすればいいよ」
それは彼の自分の名前と妹の名前だった。


He was a boy gentle at heart, but it was often that he was absent from a school.
When absence continued, mother visited his house well, but his mother was often away from home.
"Where has your mother gone to?"
"Mom has gone to hunt for a guy"
The boy of the caretaker answered so. He was still 6 years old then.
He hasn't watched father. His family was the poor family who lived in the discriminatory ghetto.


彼は心優しい少年だったが、学校を休むことが多かった。
欠席が続くと母はよく彼の家を訪ねたが、少年の母親はしばしば不在だった。
「お母さんはどこに行っているの？」
「男を漁りに行ってるよ」　
留守番の少年はそう答えたという。彼はそのときまだ6歳だった。
彼は父親を見たことがなかった。彼の家庭は被差別部落に住む貧しい一家だった。

Now that she passed more than 15 years, my mother met an ex-boy again through the corner of the newspaper.
Daisuke and Nana of two cats which he named it bask in the sun on my knee today.

Don't please think that I feel pity for a student of my mother now while writing such a sentence.
What I do not steal is not because I am good, and I am not a fatalist.


15年以上経った今、わたしの母は新聞の片隅を通じてかつての少年と再会した。
彼が名づけてくれた二匹の猫のDaisukeとNanaは、今日ももわたしの膝の上で日向ぼっこする。

今、このような文章を書きながら、私が母親の教え子を憐れんでいるなどとどうか思わないで欲しい。
私が盗まないのは善良だからではない、そして私は運命論者でもない。

I feel the fields of his life from the words, and I maked sure the rough touch with a palm.
It's all of the world that he has seen.
It means neither the happiness nor the misfortune.
But life dwells in human words to live hard.
The light of the life to glisten brightly is very dear for me.


「男を漁りに行ってるよ」
私はその言葉から彼の人生のマチエールを感じて、手のひらでざらざらと感触を確かめる。
彼が見てきた世界の全てだ。
幸せも不幸も意味しない。
ただ、懸命に生きる人間の言葉には命が宿る。
その燦々と輝く命の光が、私にはなんとも愛しい。


And the life of two cats which he named it lives on my knee now.


そして今、彼が名づけた二匹の猫の命が私の膝の上で生きている。
